Lovro Badžim
Lovro Badžim is an attorney-at-law based in Zagreb, Croatia, focusing on sports law, international arbitration and commercial matters. He holds two postgraduate degrees: a Specialist Degree in Companies and Commercial Law from the University of Zagreb, where his thesis examined the protection and enforcement of athletes’ image rights, and an LL.M. from Penn State Law, with concentration in contracts, corporations, M&A and international commercial arbitration.
Alongside private practice, he is active in international sports governance and dispute resolution. He serves as Chairperson of the International Handball Federation Arbitration Commission, is a Legal Member of the Sport Resolutions International sub-panel, and has held arbitral and disciplinary roles with institutions including Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), the European Handball Federation, and the Croatian Football Federation.
He regularly advises sports organisations, companies, athletes and private clients on regulatory, contractual and dispute resolution matters, combining legal practice with academic and institutional experience in both domestic and international settings.
